Ingredients

1. 1-1/4 oz rye whiskey
2. 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
3. cherry for garnishing
4. 2-3 dashes of angostura bitters 

Directions

1. mix all the ingredients in mixing glass filled with ice cubes
2. stir well and strain into coctail glass
3.  garnish with cherry
